You are looking at the insulating Intake Manifold PX3 Gasket. This is the PX3 Extreme version, which provides maximum horsepower gains by blocking off the Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) which dumps hot exhaust gases into your intake stream, as well as blocking coolant flow to the intake manifold.

What are PX3 gaskets and what do they do?

While many avenues exist for boosting the power output of an engine, most focus on ways to increase the volumetric efficiency of the system. Ported heads, larger diameter exhausts, headers, and bigger throttle bodies, all serve to decrease airflow resistance. The average gain in most engines using PX3 intake manifold gaskets is 3-5% across the entire powerband, with peaks as high as 10 horsepower and 12 ft-lbs of torque. Remember, every engine with it's own modifications will react differently, but this is the average gain seen using PX3 gaskets.
